EARRING CARE:

All earring posts are stainless steel- which is hypoallergenic & nickel free.

Jump rings are gold plated stainless steel & are tarnish resistant.

All of the materials are various non-toxic PVC based medium called Polymer Clay.  Polymer Clay is super lightweight; and while durable – these earrings need a little extra care!  We recommend keeping earrings on original earring card when not wearing or hang them up for sage keeping!

If you happen to get any makeup on the earrings – you can use nail polish remover to remove! Just apply remover to a cotton ball or cloth and rub out the stain and then wash with water.

ABOUT CRAFT BY MEG:

A bold accessory brand, proudly handmade in Charlotte, NC.

What began as a craft has turned into my passion! This is the medium that I can deliver and hopefully make you smile and feel more confident!

ABOUT ME:

Hi, I'm Meg! I'm from Charlotte and have been obsessed with fashion since the age of 2.  Growing up in Charlotte, with a booming economy and little shopping options - I was always on the hunt fun and unique accessories.  At a very young age, I made it my goal to move to NYC after college and work in fashion [and, hopefully, some create something impactful within the industry].

One week after graduating from Clemson I was in a U-Haul on my way to NYC.  I was hired as the Merchandising Associate for a small women's clothing company - and the only thing I knew at the time was how to work hard!  After years of learning, and having next to no social life - I became the Merchandising Director and Fabric Buyer for the company.  I attended fabric shows in Paris two times a year, and worked directly with the owner/designer of the company.

At the time - I thought I was living my dream, but I wasn't happy and didn't know how to feel happy again.  It took me eight years of hustling and grinding to realize that NYC was not the best place for me.

In 2018 I decided to move back to Charlotte - turns out that the ten year old me was wrong about my life plans! When I got back, I took some much needed time off and began working with clay for fun. I fell in LOVE with the medium and perfected my craft.  In July 2019 K|LA gave me the opportunity to start selling my jewelry in their two locations, and it took off!

One of the best things about clay earrings is how light-weight they are.  You might even forget you are wearing them!

Today I can confidently tell you, that if I hadn't worked for that company in NYC and learned so much about running a small business - I would not have this company today, so THANK YOU to everyone who got me here!

LOTS OF SMILES AND LOVE TO YOU ALL!

XOXO
